Model Gallery 3 : 9-inch RML on High Angle MkIII mounting with loading way

Model of a 9-inch R.M.L. gun by Nicholas Baigent who based this on one of the four guns  originally on Mark III mountings at Tregantle Down High Angle Battery, Plymouth, in 1895. The model is in 1:40 scale, scratchbuilt in plasticard, with the barrel turned from nylon rod. The figures are scaled down conversions of 1:35 WWII German infantry figures, adapted to represent two of the late-Victorian gun crew
